Terms of service

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and DropScribe (“we”, “us”). By installing or using DropScribe Calendar Export (“the add-on”), or by buying a plan, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not install the add-on.

2. The add-on

The add-on works inside Google Sheets. It exports events from Google Calendar into a sheet, and creates calendar events from the rows of a sheet. You need a Google account to use it, and Google's own terms apply to Google Sheets and Google Calendar. The add-on is not made or endorsed by Google.

3. Plans

• Trial. The first time you use the add-on, you get 14 days of Pro at no cost. No card is needed.
• Free. After the trial the add-on keeps working with the Free limits shown on the pricing page.
• Pro. A paid subscription with higher limits and the daily refresh, as shown on the pricing page.

We may change the features and limits of a plan. A change that reduces what Pro includes will not apply to you until the period you have already paid for ends.

4. Payment

Pro is billed in advance, every month or every year, in US dollars. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which may add tax depending on your country. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.

We may change the price with 30 days' notice by email. If you do not cancel before the new price starts, you accept it.

5. Your licence key

After you pay, Dodo Payments emails you a licence key. The key can be active on up to 3 Google accounts at a time. It is for you or your business. Do not publish it, share it outside your business, or resell it. We may disable a key that has been published, refunded or charged back.

6. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time from the Dodo Payments customer portal, or by writing to support@dropscribe.app. Cancelling stops future charges. When your subscription ends, the add-on goes back to the Free plan, and your sheets and calendar events stay as they are.

If you are not satisfied, write to us within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund it. After that, charges are final and we do not refund part of a period, except where the law requires it.

7. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the events you create and the invitations you send. Check your rows before you create events, above all when invitations are switched on.
• Check an export before you rely on it for invoices, payroll or records. The add-on reports what is in your calendar, and calendars contain mistakes.
• Do not use the add-on to send unwanted invitations, to get around plan limits or licence checks, or in a way that breaks Google's terms.

8. Availability

The add-on depends on Google's services and on limits Google sets, such as how long a run may take and how many events an account may create in a day. Google may change or remove features the add-on relies on. We may update, change or stop offering the add-on. If we stop offering it, we will say so on this website and stop renewals first.

9. Ownership

Your calendar and your spreadsheets are yours, and we claim no rights over them. The add-on, the DropScribe name and this website belong to us. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the add-on.

10. No warranty

The add-on is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that an export will be complete or suitable for a particular purpose.

11. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of the add-on, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

12. Ending

You can stop using the add-on at any time by uninstalling it. We may disable your licence key if you break these terms. Sections 9, 10 and 11 continue to apply after these terms end.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top. If you keep using the add-on after a change, you accept the new terms.
